GRINM GROUP (formerly known as China General Research Institute for Nonferrous Metals), founded in 1952, is a large R&D organization and high-tech incubator with strong core competence in nonferrous metals industry in China. Focusing on three core business segments, advanced nonferrous metal materials and processing, mineral processing and metallurgy, analysis and testing, we have more than 40 corporate family members, including platform innovation companies, high-tech companies, investment companies, publishing and services companies, and have established R&D and production bases throughout China in Beijing, Hebei, Shandong, Shanghai, Anhui, Sichuan, Chongqing, Fujian as well as in UK and Canada. .

During 1950-1960s, GRINM pioneered in the separation, extraction and purification of 64 nonferrous metal elements, which laid a solid foundation for the development of nonferrous metals, rare metals and rare earths industry in China. 对照阅读

Name changed to Nonferrous Metals Research Institute under the management of Ministry of Metallurgical Industry

1983

Renamed as Beijing General Research Institute for Nonferrous Metals under the management of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Corporation

1999

Transformed into a tech company and registered as a corporate entity

2003

Run as a state-owned enterprise under the management of State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council

2017

Renamed and registered as GRINM Group Co., Ltd.
